HEALTH & SAFETY

In addition to complying with the requirements of I.S. 10101:2020 National Rules for Electrical Installations,
Callaghan Electrical operates in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005, the Safety,
Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 to 2023, the Safety, Health and
Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 to 2021, and applicable legislation, codes of practice,
standards and guidance relating to our work activities.
Our commitment extends beyond compliance; we proactively safeguard the Safety, Health, and Welfare of
our employees during their employment. This includes providing essential information, training, and
supervision to prevent accidents and health issues, ensuring not only the well-being of our staff but also the
protection of visitors, clients, and contractors impacted by our activities.
Our management team’s primary responsibility is to foster a culture of safety, ensuring that all team
members are equipped with the knowledge and resources to contribute to a secure and healthy workplace.
Following this, we emphasise the obligation of our employees to actively engage with our safety protocols,
taking diligent care of themselves and their colleagues. Lastly, we extend this responsibility to our
contractors, expecting them to adhere to our safety standards and contribute positively to our collective
well-being.
Understanding the critical nature of safety in our industry, Callaghan Electrical has partnered with
