Ayrfield
This is a project delivered by Callaghan Electrical in 2019 for 150 apartments at Ayrfield, a residential development in Dublin by Comhar Homes. Callaghan Electrical was responsible for full end to end electrical installation work for the units and common areas including car park and site lighting.

General description
The works consisted of the complete Electrical Services installation of 150 No. apartments within 9 blocks at Ayrfield, Belmayne, Dublin 13. Blocks A, B and C were built above an underground basement car park at lower ground level and the remaining at ground level.
The full scope of work included:
Existing Services and Utilities - liaising with the ESB with regard to temporary connections, new connections, ESB cabling, new substation and metering arrangements for landlord and each individual apartment
Site Services including supply and installation of the new site lighting / landscape lighting installations
Automated Gate Installation including supply and installation of the LV and ELV cabling to the automated gate installations
Power Distribution Services including supply and installation of the new Main Electrical Distribution Board and metering located at ground floor within a dedicated Switchgear facility adjacent to the new substation for blocks A, B, C, and D.
General Services socket outlet installation including fused connection unit installation for Fire Detection, Alarm Equipment, Intruder Detection and Alarm Equipment, Access Control Equipment, CCTV Equipment, Disabled Refuge System Equipment, Door Hold Devices, Fire Smoke Dampers, Automatic opening Vents, AV/Telephone/ICT Systems, Automatic Doors, lift and apartment general services.
Lighting and Emergency Lighting Services in apartments, common areas, carparks, stairwells/lobbies, plant spaces, bin stores, and bicycle stores including all light fittings.
Fire Alarm Services including the entire automatic addressable Network fire alarm and detection system including Smoke and heat detectors, Break glass units, Combined smoke detectors / sounders, Fire alarm sounders, Strobe lights, Proline linear heat tape – at carpark levels, Smoke Aspirating systems within lifts, Input output devices, Short circuit isolators, Remote indicator lights and yellow break glass units for AOVs / AOWs / AOD and smoke ventilation system.
Voice Evacuation System
Communication Services including associated structured cabling, intercom, access control and television/communication systems.
Protective Services including intruder alarms and CCTV systems.
Mechanical Services including booster pumps, extractor fans, combi-boilers and carpark ventilation systems.
