Apprentice Electrician

Callaghan Electrical is looking for motivated apprentices to join our growing team in Stradone, Co. Cavan, and on sites across Ireland. As a SOLAS-registered employer, we'll support you through the full electrical apprenticeship — combining hands-on site experience with off-the-job training — as you work towards your recognised craft qualification.

You'll learn alongside experienced electricians on real projects, from installation and fit-out to maintenance, gaining exposure across the commercial, healthcare, industrial and educational sectors. We invest in our apprentices for the long term, and many of our qualified team members started exactly where you are now.

What you'll do

• Assist with electrical installations, fit-outs and maintenance under the guidance of qualified electricians

• Learn to work safely and to the highest standards on live construction sites

• Attend off-the-job training phases as part of the national apprenticeship programme

• Develop practical skills across a range of sectors and project types

What we're looking for

• A genuine interest in a career as an electrician

• A strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent (or enrolment on an approved apprenticeship route)
